Checkups and Cleanings

All new patients receive a complete oral examination by the doctor. Returning patients are seen by the doctor usually every six months and at least once a year for update exams. Patients are scheduled for cleanings to preserve their periodontal (gum and bone support) health based on their individual needs, usually every 4-6 months. Patients are scheduled with the same hygienist for each recall, so that they can build a rapport with them. Patients may request either of the hygienists they choose. Children are usually scheduled along with parents so they feel most secure and comfortable.
